Throughout the 20th century, Paris was a magnet for radical artistic change, with a supremely avant-garde reputation. The city became renowned for its strong colony of artists who developed both friendships and rivalries that bolstered each of their individual careers.
'Made in Paris' will explore the biggest names in Modern Art, specifically the pre-eminent masters who established Paris as the world’s art capital. Original etchings, lithographs, and exhibition posters will be exhibited, all of which were created in some of the most acclaimed ateliers of the time. Artworks by luminaries such as Matisse, Léger, Miró, Chagall, Magritte, Picasso and Munch will be on display, bringing 'The City of Light' to Bath.Hidden Gallery in Bath is open from 10am - 5pm Tuesday to Saturday.
