Jerico Contemporary is pleased to present Alex
Tracey's latest photographic series 'A Day at Piscine Molitor'.
Piscine Molitor is a Parisian institution, positioned
on the edge of the 16th arrondissement designed by two Olympic swimmers in 1929
resembling an Art Deco ocean liner. Full of heritage, it’s the location the
first bikini was unveiled in 1946 and is the source of some of history’s most
beautiful poolside photography. A true homage to Gilles Rigoulet's 1985 photo
series, A Day at Piscine Molitor
features the hotel’s residents and the pool’s character-filled locals, in
black-and-white medium format film.
