a landscape exhibition

PDF Catalog

Rhett Baruch Gallery is pleased to present Blurry Pastures, a group show of artists exhibiting varying forms of what a landscape can be. To challenge traditional notions of landscape representation, prompting visitors to reconsider the possibilities inherent in this genre. By presenting a diverse range of artistic expressions and mediums, we hope to foster a richer appreciation for the ways in which artists interpret and interact with the world around them

In this exhibition, we skew traditional perceptions of landscapes by challenging the conventional definitions and expectations associated with the genre. Rather than limiting landscapes to just picturesque depictions of natural scenery, we explore a broader conceptual framework by integrating a diverse array of mediums—including painting, textiles, ceramics, and mixed media
