伊日藝術計劃台北空間現正展出聯展《魔幻日常》，展期自 2026 年 9 月 10 日至 10 月 31 日。本展亦呈現德國藝術家貝亞特・賀英（Beate Höing）的作品。
貝亞特・賀英 1966 年生於德國科斯費爾德，現居並工作於當地。她於 2001 至 2005 年就讀萊茵魯爾自由藝術學院，自 2010 年起任教於特里爾歐洲美術學院。她以繪畫與陶瓷為主要創作媒介，從傳統工藝、建築、神話、童話及裝飾文化汲取靈感，發展出遊走於現實與幻想之間的視覺語言。
賀英的油畫經常取材自 1970 與 1980 年代的舊照片。看似溫馨而懷舊的場景，在細看之下逐漸浮現曖昧與不安，使個人記憶與集體歷史交疊。她的陶瓷創作則重新運用瓷偶、紀念品與傳統裝飾中常被視為俗艷的元素，將人物、花卉與奇異生物組合成帶有幽默感的夢幻場景。華麗而熟悉的外表之下，往往隱藏著細微的衝突，使美感與不安、親密與陌生同時存在。
呼應《魔幻日常》的策展主題，賀英從文化記憶與日常圖像出發，重新安排我們熟悉的符號與敘事。作品中的「魔幻」並非來自遙遠的幻想世界，而是在懷舊感逐漸變得陌生、裝飾轉化為心理投射的瞬間浮現。她以溫柔而略帶諷刺的視角，讓現實與想像彼此滲透，也邀請觀者重新觀看那些深植於記憶與文化之中的日常景象。
賀英的作品獲杜塞爾多夫 Hetjens Museum、費興 Keramion 及瑞典哥德堡市等機構典藏。她曾獲 Bernd und Gisela Rosenheim 基金會藝術獎，並獲 Aldegrever Gesellschaft 與北萊茵威斯伐倫邦文化和科學部獎助。
YIRI ARTS Taipei is currently presenting Magical Everyday, a group exhibition on view from September 10 to October 31, 2026. The exhibition includes works by German artist Beate Höing.
Born in Coesfeld, Germany, in 1966, Höing continues to live and work there. She studied at the Freie Kunstakademie Rhein-Ruhr in Essen and Krefeld from 2001 to 2005 and has taught at the European Academy of Fine Arts in Trier since 2010. Working primarily across painting and ceramics, she draws inspiration from traditional craft, architecture, mythology, fairy tales, and decorative culture to develop a visual language situated between reality and fantasy.
Höing’s paintings often take photographs from the 1970s and 1980s as their starting point. Scenes that initially appear warm and nostalgic gradually reveal a sense of ambiguity and unease, bringing personal memory into contact with collective history. In her ceramic practice, porcelain figurines, souvenirs, and decorative elements often associated with kitsch are reimagined as poetic arrangements of figures, flowers, and strange creatures. Beneath their ornate and familiar surfaces, subtle tensions emerge, allowing beauty and unease, intimacy and estrangement, to coexist.
In dialogue with Magical Everyday, Höing rearranges familiar symbols and narratives drawn from cultural memory and everyday imagery. The magical in her work does not belong to a distant realm of fantasy. It emerges when nostalgia begins to feel unfamiliar and decoration becomes a reflection of inner life. Through a perspective that is both tender and quietly ironic, Höing allows reality and imagination to permeate one another, inviting viewers to reconsider images embedded in everyday experience and cultural memory.
Höing’s work is held in collections including the Hetjens Museum in Düsseldorf, Keramion in Frechen, and the City of Gothenburg. Her distinctions include the Art Award of the Bernd und Gisela Rosenheim Foundation, as well as fellowships from the Aldegrever Gesellschaft and the Ministry of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia.
