Abu Bakarr Mansaray

Abu Bakarr Mansaray is an independent image-maker, scientist, inventor, commentator and afro-futurist - today respected as one of the pioneers of contemporary African art. His fantastical inventions have been exhibited worldwide, including Simon Njami's Africa Remix (2004), The Museum of Everything (2016/17/18) and the 56th Venice Biennale (2015). His work is currently on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
