PATTERN
PATTERN brings together contemporary African art from Serge Tiroche’s Africa First Collection and the distinctive design language of Arik Ben Simhon.
At the heart of the exhibition is pattern, understood not simply as a visual element, but as a language carrying memory, identity and storytelling. Colour, material, texture and repetition take on different meanings in each work, reflecting the diversity of voices, cultures and experiences shaping contemporary African art.
Within the showroom, the artworks encounter Ben Simhon’s natural materials, sculptural forms and carefully composed interiors. They are presented not as separate objects or decorative additions, but as an integral part of the space. This dialogue between art and design creates a complete environment in which every artwork, object and material influences how the space is seen and experienced.
