Timmy Harn is a Filipino artist whose works are based on the filmmaking process and reflect personal experiences and narratives around his historic hometown of Manila. His interest in the old translates to the exploration of different formats of film, from celluloid, to the analog textures of home videos, and the high-definition clarity of digital imagery. This allows him to merge historical timelines to define “the feeling of a future.”

Timmy’s video installations have been exhibited at the Palais de Tokyo, Echo Park Film Center, and Lopez Museum. He is most recognized for his work directing cult favorites Reptilia In Suburbia (2013) which was his directorial debut, and Dog Days (2018) which premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam.

Other festivals that have screened his films are Wavelengths at the Toronto International Film Festival, Images Festival, and Singapore International Film Festival.
