Terrence Musekiwa (b. 1990, Seke, Zimbabwe; lives and works in London) draws from Zimbabwe’s rich stone sculpture tradition, passed down through generations and deeply influenced by his father, Kennedy Musekiwa. Blending personal found objects with ancestral techniques, his work extends the lineage of Zimbabwean oral histories.
Rooted in syncretism, Musekiwa’s sculptures merge contemporary materials and methods with inherited cultural knowledge, creating works that bridge past and present.
