Born in Březové Hory,
Křížek developed an early fascination with archaic symbols, layering sculptures and drawings with primal forms and cryptic motifs. He later moved to France, where his sculptures and drawings were inducted into le Foyer d’Art Brut.
Křížek’s pieces—ranging from rough-hewn totems to elegantly minimal line sketches—evoke both timeless ritual and inner revelation. His legacy resonates today as a testament to the power of self-guided exploration.
