Tabaski, Eid al-Adha, or the “Festival of Sacrifice,” is an Islamic festival celebrated annually at the end of the Hajj pilgrimage (Mecca, Saudi Arabia).
For the artist Kwame Sousa, this festival is a cycle of sharing that begins as a day of forgiveness, tolerance, and unity. It is a moment of connection between past and present, where families visit one another to strengthen bonds of affection and spirituality through communal meals.
