Paper is a series of useable, artist-driven furniture that looks like paper but is sturdy enough to sit on. Both conceptual and practical, Paper bridges the gap between art and design through humor and humanity.

the PROCESS / Large-scale graphite drawings are crumpled to create resin molds. The graphite marks and creases transfer to each piece & stamped with the creation date. The sleek resin material is durable and integrates easily into artful homes & exterior settings.

the MAKERS / Zachary A. Design presents Harrison Parkes, a Chicago-based artist and a part of the ZAD studio, a multidisciplinary group based in Chicago who combine artistic vision and technical expertise to push the boundaries of furniture design. Studio ZAD has transformed the Viewing Room at 344 Park Avenue in Glencoe into an immersive exhibition of the artist's work.
