Blunk Space

Blunk Space | FOG FOCUS 2026

Booth 401

For FOG FOCUS 2026, Blunk Space presents a group exhibition that connects the work of living artists with the legacy of the pioneering Northern California artist JB Blunk (1926–2002). New salvaged wood furniture by Rio Kobayashi will be shown alongside historic paintings by Blunk’s peers Richard Bowman (1918–2001), Fritz Rauh (1920–2011), and John Anderson (1932–2011).

The artists share a deep reverence for their materials and an intuitive way of working, creating forms that feel both ancient and utterly contemporary. By placing historic works in dialogue with contemporary practice, the exhibition reflects Blunk Space’s commitment to preserving West Marin’s distinctive contributions to art and design, extending a Northern California sensibility to FOG Focus.
