Art Basel Miami Beach

December 2-6, 2026

In 2026 the future of American climate policy is bleak. Environmental deregulation, support for fossil fuels, and dismantling climate initiatives are all on the table, even as natural disasters increase in their frequency and severity. In the shadow of this reality, we propose to show artists who make work in response to climate change: Diane Burko, peter campus, Malia Jensen, Joan Linder, Maureen O’Leary, David Opdyke, Judy Pfaff, Sara Siestreem (Hanis Coos), and Wood and Harrison. Many of the artists will create new work for the fair.

While the premise of the booth is fatalistic, the artists’ landscapes carry an implicit hope that recognition might inspire change. They compel us to confront what we stand to lose—and what we might still preserve.
