Spanning digital performance, synthetic photography, AI-generated imagery, and computational world-building, the presentation considers how contemporary technologies are reshaping the ways we create, perceive, and inhabit images.
Highlights include Marina Abramović's pioneering digital avatar project, Kevin Abosch's early and recent synthetic photographs, Francesco D'Isa's AI-generated works, and Natural Order from Ryan Koopmans & Alice Wexell's Wild Within series.
Beyond the booth, Abramović's limited-edition LED wall installation Slow Walking will be presented in the Sato sector of Tokyo Gendai. Premiered in Transforming Energy at the Gallerie dell'Accademia di Venezia during the 61st Venice Biennale, the work extends the artist's lifelong exploration of presence through an immersive encounter with radically decelerated time.
