A COMMON PLACE PROJECT
This exhibition project is about finding artistic connection in a time of social distance. We randomly paired 29 Eames Fine Art artists with 29 writers. They then had to find a ‘common place’ that resonated with both of them, producing an artwork or a poem reflecting on this place.
The ‘A Common Place’ exhibition at Eames Fine Art was conceived of during the spring lockdown, launched online during the November lockdown, then enjoyed great success when it reopened in person in December.
