Nele Brughmans lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium.
Growing up surrounded by nature, she incorporates
this influence into her work, particularly through her

significant use of green.

Her paintings feature thick, rough textures applied
spontaneously, contrasted with smaller, detailed sections
that showcase her attentive eye for nuances. She finds
wonder in small details and encourages viewers to do
the same.

Brughmans draws inspiration from artists like Bram Bogart
and Kristof Santy. She enjoys merging the serenity of
nature with the bustle of the city, a contrast that forms the
foundation of her art.

Currently, her travels are her biggest inspiration, infusing
her work with new perspectives and stories. This blend
of nature, urban life, and travel creates a unique artistic
language reflecting her diverse experiences.
