This Virtual exhibition titled "Just another day..." celebrates the small pleasures and intimate moments that connect people in daily life. The playfulness of the youthful subject matter reminds us to return to childhood innocence, where the simple things in life can bring the most joy. It is about connection, play and finding pleasure in the small things unencumbered by the stresses of the "adult world".
This is an exhibition of originals made from charcoal and pastel on Fabriano paper.

Sithole Lebohang, (born 1989, Johannesburg), after completing matric in 2008 Sithole attained his knowledge in printmaking at Artist Proof Studio where he completed three years of training. He has over the past four to five years explored his roots, who he is, and what he is becoming whilst observing others and capturing moments. A central thread that runs through his life story is the significance and spiritual presence of grandparents as moral mentors represented in different ways. Sithole comments that the process of creating artworks in the media in which he practices as a printmaker has been a transformative and cathartic experience. There is a sense of happiness and nostalgia which carries through the various subject in his work. His use of bright colours and his extensive use of yellow has characterised his work and defined his style as a printmaker. Sithole has managed to capture joy and movement in his etchings in a manner that is unique to his work.
