FRIEZE LONDON

For Frieze London 2026, Galerie Poggi presents new works by Kapwani Kiwanga and Manuel Mathieu, whose practices have attracted growing attention on the international art scene. Both artists have been featured at the Venice Biennale : Kiwanga represented Canada in 2024, while Mathieu is participating in the 2026 International Art Exhibition curated by Koyo Kouoh. Kiwanga recently presented a solo exhibition at the Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona, while the gallery will inaugurate Mathieu’s first solo exhibition in Paris on October 21st, 2026, including works unveiled at Frieze London.

The presentation is complemented by new minimalist paintings and iconic sculptures by Vincent Beaurin, alongside a historical focus on Darío Villalba (1939–2018), whose pioneering dialogue between photography and painting will be revisited in a major retrospective at the Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid in 2027.
