奧里特 Orrite

今年，伊日藝術計劃將於 9 月 10 日至 10 月 31 日策劃推出《魔幻日常》策展型聯展，並首次於台灣呈現西班牙藝術家奧里特（Orrite）的作品。展覽透過不同藝術家的創作視角，重新思考當代日常經驗中現實、感知與物件之間逐漸鬆動的關係。

奧里特的繪畫長期以光影作為核心，透過具象而寫實的場景，捕捉日常空間中難以被直接言說的情緒與感知變化。對他而言，光並非只是塑造畫面的視覺元素，更是連結現實與心理狀態的重要媒介。透過細微的色彩層次、光線變化與筆觸質感，熟悉的風景逐漸被轉化為介於真實與記憶之間的觀看經驗。

在他的作品中，場景往往維持著高度可辨識的現實感，卻同時透露出沉靜、孤獨與疏離的氛圍。這種微妙的不確定性，使觀看進入介於熟悉與陌生之間的感知狀態；現實依然存在，卻因光線、時間與情緒的介入，產生細微的偏移。

這樣的創作方式亦呼應《魔幻日常》所關注的核心命題。展覽並不將「魔幻」視為對現實的逃離，而是在熟悉世界產生裂隙時，重新觀看現實的可能。Orrite 透過光影重新組織日常景象，使平凡的空間顯現近乎夢境般的陌生感，也讓觀看從確認轉向遲疑。

在此，光成為現實鬆動的起點。Orrite 的作品提醒我們，所謂「魔幻」未必來自異常或奇觀，而可能就存在於一束光、一個空間，或一個稍縱即逝的日常瞬間之。

YIRI ARTS is pleased to present Magical Everyday, a curated group exhibition on view from September 10 to October 31, 2026. The exhibition will also mark the first presentation in Taiwan of works by Spanish artist Orrite.Bringing together multiple artistic perspectives, the exhibition considers the increasingly unstable relationships between reality, perception, and objects within contemporary everyday experience.

Light and shadow have long formed the core of Orrite’s painting practice. Through figurative and highly realistic scenes, he captures subtle emotional and perceptual shifts embedded within ordinary spaces. For Orrite, light is not merely a visual element used to shape an image, but a medium connecting external reality with psychological states. Through nuanced color, illumination, brushwork, and texture, familiar landscapes gradually shift into spaces suspended between reality and memory.

His paintings often retain a strong sense of recognizable reality while simultaneously evoking stillness, solitude, and estrangement. This subtle uncertainty moves the act of looking beyond simple recognition and into a perceptual space between the familiar and the unfamiliar. Reality remains present, yet is gently displaced through the intervention of light, time, and emotion.

This approach closely resonates with the central concerns of Magical Everyday. Rather than understanding the “magical” as an escape from reality, the exhibition considers how it may emerge when the familiar world begins to loosen and reveal unexpected fissures. Through light, Orrite reorganizes everyday scenes, allowing ordinary spaces to take on an almost dreamlike sense of estrangement and shifting the act of viewing from certainty toward hesitation.

Here, light becomes the point at which reality begins to destabilize. Orrite’s works suggest that the magical does not necessarily arise from spectacle or the extraordinary, but may already exist within an ordinary beam of light, a familiar space, or a fleeting moment in everyday life.
