About 耿傑生 Keng Chieh-Sheng
1989年生於臺灣臺中，畢業於臺北藝術大學美術系和臺灣藝術大學雕塑研究所。創作形式以雕塑和裝置為主，關於雕塑的學習及實踐是從木雕開始，隨後逐漸擴展和融入對空間與感知的理解。這次的展覽延續對木頭的探索和實驗，利用多樣的技藝與材料交涉，試圖突破原有的理解框架。
Born in 1989, Keng Chieh-Sheng graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Taipei National University of the Arts and the Graduate Institute of Sculpture, National Taiwan University of Arts. He now lives and works in Banqiao.Initiating his study and practice of sculpture with woodcarving, he later integrated his knowledge about space and perceptions to explore more possibilities about sculpture. He employs a diverse range of media, mainly sculpture and installation, as well as video and performance.This exhibition extends the artist’s ongoing exploration and experimentation with wood, employing a diverse array of techniques and materials to challenge and transcend conventional frameworks of understanding.
