Martin Parr: In Plain View

On December 6, 2025, ​Martin Parr sadly passed away in his home in Bristol.​ With this exhibition, Magnum Gallery honors the vibrant life and career of Parr and reflects on his decades-long relationship with Magnum Photos​. Martin Parr: In Plain View is a tribute to Parr’s singularity, his influence on modern photography, and his lasting impact on the agency. Set in the newly inaugurated Magnum Gallery in Paris, this exhibition traces the evolution of Parr’s work, beginning with his early black and white photographs from the 1970s and continuing with a selection of series highlighting some of his most influential color projects from the 1990s and early 2000s, including Common Sense and Think of England.
