Shaunt’e Lewis (Indianapolis, IN) is a multidisciplinary visual artist, illustrator, and designer, known for her vibrant use of color, clean lines, and empowering themes. Her work celebrates Black culture, identity, and womanhood, often featuring striking portraits and storytelling through both digital and fiber art. After 15 years as a hairstylist and salon owner, she transitioned into art full-time and quickly gained recognition for her signature style. She has since collaborated with brands such as the NBA, Meijer, West Elm, Makers Mark, PBS, Visit Indy, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and many more. Her work has been featured in publications including The New York Times and Complex Magazine. Shaunt’e is the founder of Shaunt’e Lewis Art Studio and Gallery (SLA Studio), a creative space dedicated to showcasing her work and fostering community. Whether through public art, illustration, or fiber art, her work radiates joy, power, and pride.
