NMAG presents Bring on the Dancing Horses, a group exhibition opening on February 17th, the day that marks the start of a new Lunar cycle, a space between an ending and a beginning. It is a time shaped by acts of passage and transformation: the angel Gabriel delivering a message to the prophet, announcing the start of Ramadan; the snake shedding its skin and becoming something new; the arrival of the Year of the Fire Horse.
These moments of looking back and moving forward, leave us with the question: what remains to imagine for tomorrow? In Bring on the Dancing Horses artists respond to this specific moment in time and place, taking the symbol of the horse as a wandering guide.
