Untitled art | natalia ocerin

booth a76 | 3-7 December

gallery rosenfeld is proud to present Spanish artist, Natalia Ocerin in the inaugural Artist Spotlight section at the 14th edition of Untitled Art, Miami Beach 2025.

Ocerin is known for her hyperreal paintings that critique consumer culture, modelled after plasticine models which will be showcased at the fair for the first time.

Curated by interdisciplinary artist Petra Cortright, the new Artist Spotlight sector is dedicated to solo presentations from emerging and established artists, focusing on specific bodies of work and providing deeper insights into their practices. With an immersive poolside booth, this is a rare opportunity to view Ocerin’s artistic process in full, transforming plasticine maquettes into visually-striking oil paintings.

Playful and theatrical, Ocerin’s works interrogate body politics, mental health, consumer culture and the illusions of contemporary life. The artist’s newest works, created especially for Untitled Art, dive behind the façade of a lifestyle based on appearances and interrogates today’s concerns around “fake culture”.

The artist’s first solo presentation at Untitled Art Miami will reflect the new Pool series, which draws directly from Slim Aarons’ iconic photography of sun-soaked Miami poolside leisure with hyperreal precision. Visitors are invited to take a seat on a deckchair in tropical surroundings – immersed in the glamour, humour and staged perfection that defines her artistic practice.

Ocerin’s plasticine sculptures are displayed alongside the paintings that emerge from them for the first time. Each maquette is painstakingly hand-sculpted, then translated into hyperreal oil so that playful models become monumental paintings, revealing the meticulous skill and vision behind her work.

Highlighting the breadth of her practice, two paintings from the artist’s Vegetation series will immerse viewers in lush, tropical flora, their vivid colour and energy echoing the vibrancy of Miami landscapes. An additional work from her Body series, referencing Bernini’s Apollo and Daphne, explores transformation, beauty and mythology, merging the female form with flora and fauna.

Untitled Art 2025 offers unbridled insight into Ocerin’s imagination and craftsmanship at a pivotal time in the artist’s career. The exhibition will open in the Artist Spotlight section of Untitled Art, Miami Beach from Wednesday 3rd to Sunday 7th December 2025.
