As its proposal for a first participation in the international MIRA Art Fair, SAENGER presents a group of six artists from Mexico—or whose practices are based in Mexico—with the intention of establishing a dialogue in which scientific research, dream worlds, and the realities of the landscape serve as points of departure for exploring individual expression as a means of addressing universal sensibilities and forms of knowledge.
In this proposal, volcanoes, portraits, sunsets, objects, and records of scientific research through video coexist harmoniously under a clear and simple intention: to share with the world a fragment of the diverse and complex contemporary art scene in Mexico through the perspective of SAENGER Gallery.
