伊日藝術計劃台北空間現正展出聯展《魔幻日常》，展期自 2026 年 9 月 10 日至 10 月 31 日。本展亦呈現日本藝術家平子雄一（Yuichi Hirako）的作品。
平子雄一 1982 年生於日本岡山縣，2006 年畢業於英國溫布頓藝術學院，現生活與創作於東京。他以繪畫與雕塑探討人類與自然之間的共存關係，並將每一次創作視為向自然提出的提問。受到日本歷史、宗教文化與萬物有靈觀念的啟發，他以鮮明色彩、自由線條與豐富細節，將年輪、森林、植物、人物與日常事物組構成如舞台般的奇異場景。
平子雄一近年曾於奈義町現代美術館、練馬區立美術館、葛西臨海公園、Space K、The Modern Institute及Gallery Baton等機構與畫廊舉辦個展，並參與倫敦Frieze Sculpture。他的作品獲荷蘭利瑟美術館、阿克蘇諾貝爾藝術基金會、讓．皮戈齊收藏、龍美術館、上海寶龍美術館及韓國Space K等機構典藏。
呼應《魔幻日常》的策展主題，平子雄一將熟悉的自然景象轉化為介於現實、記憶與想像之間的空間。森林不再只是人物身後的背景，而成為具有自身時間與精神性的存在。當人造世界與自然生命彼此交織，人類與環境之間原本清楚的界線也逐漸鬆動。作品中的「魔幻」由觀看自然的方式轉變而生，並邀請觀者重新思考自身在更大生命系統中的位置。
YIRI ARTS Taipei is currently presenting Magical Everyday, a group exhibition on view from September 10 to October 31, 2026. The exhibition includes works by Japanese artist Yuichi Hirako.
Born in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, in 1982, Hirako graduated from Wimbledon College of Art in the UK in 2006. He currently lives and works in Tokyo. Working across painting and sculpture, he explores the coexistence of humans and nature, approaching each artwork as a question addressed to the natural world. Drawing on Japanese history, religious traditions, and the belief that all things possess a spirit, he brings together growth rings, forests, plants, figures, and everyday objects through vivid color, free flowing lines, and densely layered details. The resulting scenes unfold with the richness of carefully constructed stages.
Hirako has presented recent solo exhibitions at the Nagi Museum of Contemporary Art, Nerima Art Museum, Kasai Rinkai Park, Space K, The Modern Institute, and Gallery Baton. He has also participated in Frieze Sculpture in London. His work is held in collections including the Lisser Art Museum, AkzoNobel Art Foundation, Jean Pigozzi Collection, Long Museum, Powerlong Museum, and Space K.
In dialogue with Magical Everyday, Hirako transforms familiar images of nature into spaces suspended between reality, memory, and imagination. The forest is no longer a passive backdrop, but a presence with its own sense of time and spirit. As human environments and natural life become intertwined, the boundary between humanity and nature begins to loosen. The magical emerges through this shift in perception, inviting viewers to reconsider their place within a larger living system.
