双方藝廊將於2022年5月7日至6月18日舉辦藝術家組合邱杰森、莫珊嵐個展－「新世界」。邱杰森與莫珊嵐擅長以數位科技結合人文地理脈絡進行創作，近年來常在各美術館及獎項中脫穎而出，此次展覽是兩位藝術家與双方藝廊的首次合作。同樣是運用科技結合歷史元素，以「新世界」為題，概念發想自十六世紀出版的《東印度水路誌》和其中的大量水手見聞、地方傳說、地圖測繪、海怪描繪等，而展出的作品則包含動力裝置、以3D列印烤漆製作的雕塑、以遊戲引擎製作的類紀錄片動畫，以及透過矽晶圓反射的動畫投影，藉由虛擬世界讓藝術與歷史建立橋樑，並產生異質性的多重對話，使原本的歷史文本轉存到藝術空間中。
Double Square Gallery is delighted to present Novae Terrae, the solo exhibition of Chiehsen Chiu and Margot Guillemot, which will run from May 7 to June 18, 2022. The artist collective specializes in integrating digital technologies with the context of human geography to create their projects, and has been showcased in various art museums and art prizes in recent years. This solo exhibition marks their first collaboration with Double Square Gallery. Combining technology with historical elements, they draw inspiration from the 16th-century book, Itinerario Voyage ofte Schipvaert naer Oost ofte Portugaels Indien, and extensive anecdotes from sailors, local legends, cartographic records, and descriptions of sea monsters in the book.
