《魔幻日常》匯集臺灣藝術家邱懷萱（Chiu Huai-Hsuan）結合木質雕塑與動力裝置的近期創作。作品以微型化的課桌椅、書本與櫃體為載體，在精心裁切與磨製中保留樹木沉澱的時間痕跡。邱懷萱透過機械動力的循環微動，使靜止的物件產生碰撞與轉位，在控制與不可控之間召喚出介於現實與幻境的動態劇場。熟悉的日常家具因而脫離原有功能，轉化為帶有微觀詩意的生命景觀，深刻回應本展對日常經驗重構與物件異質經驗的關注。
“Magical Everyday” brings together recent works by Taiwanese artist Chiu Huai-Hsuan, combining wooden sculpture with kinetic mechanisms. Utilizing miniaturized desks, chairs, books, and cabinets, her practice preserves the temporal traces embedded within the wood through meticulous cutting and polishing. Through the cyclical micro-movements of kinetic devices, Chiu causes static objects to collide and shift, invoking a dynamic theater suspended between reality and illusion, control and chance. Freed from their utilitarian functions, these familiar domestic objects are transformed into a poetic, microscopic landscape of life, profoundly resonating with the exhibition’s exploration of reconstructed everyday experience and the nuanced tension within objecthood.
