Desi Brown (Denver, CO) is a multidisciplinary artist working with clay, textiles, and found materials. As a biracial Black woman and single mother, her practice centers the interior lives, bodies, and resilience of Black women navigating single parenthood. Through her work, Brown creates space for recognition and celebration. One that honors the sacrifices, brilliance, beauty, and power of mothers, regardless of their financial status, marital situation, or parental role.
