Michael Hoppen Gallery will be presenting some of our most iconic and important artists for our third engagement at
Art Genève.
We believe that photography has changed dramatically over the past 10 years and we will illustrate this through works that show the technological diversity of this medium. From traditional darkroom printing by
Bradford Washburn and
Brassaï to the telescopic works of
Luca Missoni - and a highlight; the recently-discovered and important private collection of unique vintage Alpine photography from the 1930’s, by
George Bunzl.
We will also present the works of
Tim Walker, whose largest solo exhibition to date,
Wonderful Things, is currently on at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, until March 8th 2020.
