伊日藝術計劃台北空間現正展出聯展《魔幻日常》，展期自 2026 年 9 月 10 日至 10 月 31 日。本展亦呈現臺灣藝術家蔡瑞恒（Cai Ruei-Heng）的作品。
蔡瑞恒 1989 年生於臺北，畢業於國立虎尾科技大學工業管理系，並於 2018 年取得國立臺北藝術大學美術學系碩士學位。他的創作關注個體在社會規範與期待之中所經歷的拉扯，以及難以被直接表達的真實感受。透過繪畫，他回應人們面對現實時的無力、迷惘與矛盾，並嘗試在失序之中重新尋找理解世界的方式。
蔡瑞恒以濕潤、透明與混濁的色層構築畫面。流動而不受拘束的筆觸，以及未完全融合的顏料，使情緒在畫面中不斷堆疊與變化。看似混亂的構圖，實際上經過結構性的拆解與重組，在抽象與具象之間形成獨特的視覺節奏，也讓滑稽、荒謬與不安同時浮現。
呼應《魔幻日常》的策展主題，蔡瑞恒作品中的「魔幻」來自熟悉秩序的鬆動。社會規則、個人情緒與生活經驗被拆解並重新排列，使現實呈現出荒謬卻仍可辨識的樣貌。當失落與希望同時存在於畫面之中，作品也邀請觀者重新思考，個體如何在充滿矛盾的世界裡尋找自己的位置。
YIRI ARTS Taipei is currently presenting Magical Everyday, a group exhibition on view from September 10 to October 31, 2026. The exhibition features works by Taiwanese artist Cai Ruei-Heng.
Born in Taipei in 1989, Cai holds a BBA in Industrial Management from National Formosa University and earned his MFA from Taipei National University of the Arts in 2018. His practice examines the tensions individuals experience when navigating social expectations and established norms, as well as the emotions that often remain difficult to express. Through painting, he responds to feelings of powerlessness, uncertainty, and contradiction while searching for new ways to understand a disordered world.
Cai constructs his paintings through wet, transparent, and clouded layers of color. Fluid, unrestrained brushwork and partially blended pigments allow emotional shifts to emerge across the surface. Although the compositions may initially appear chaotic, they are shaped through a careful process of fragmentation and reconstruction, creating a distinctive rhythm between abstraction and figuration. Humor, absurdity, and unease coexist within the same visual field.
In dialogue with Magical Everyday, the magical in Cai’s work emerges when familiar systems of order begin to loosen. Social conventions, personal emotions, and everyday experiences are dismantled and rearranged, allowing reality to take on an absurd yet recognizable form. Holding loss and hope in the same image, his paintings invite viewers to consider how individuals search for their place within a contradictory world.
