Contemporary Swedish Glass

Wetterling Gallery, in collaboration with Kosta Boda, presents Contemporary Swedish Glass—a summer exhibition that explores the rich tradition of Swedish glass through the work of leading contemporary artists who engage with this boundless medium.

Spanning multiple generations, the exhibition reflects the enduring significance of glass within Swedish contemporary art. Through sculpture and object-based works, the participating artists engage with the medium through distinctly individual practices, where material, form, and image are in constant dialogue.

For decades, Swedish glass has held a unique international position, distinguished by its ability to continuously evolve while remaining deeply connected to its own history. Swedish Glass brings together these diverse perspectives in an exhibition that explores the medium as both historically rooted and continually expanding, highlighting its capacity for innovation, experimentation, and artistic expression.

The exhibition will be on view from June 11 – August 16, 2026.
