Seed Lynn (Indianapolis, IN & Chicago, IL) is a cultural organizer and lens-based artist whose work and participatory experiences emerge through residencies that archive, return, and reinstitute cultural memory as a vital currency for communities of purpose and concern.
With over 25 years as an artist-organizer, Lynn calls Chicagoland home while holding deep connections to communities of faith, place, and spirit across the Global South. Lynn believes that the most vulnerable stories are the most courageous. Stories shared without shame or stigma, without argument or doubt. Through a practice grounded in custom, culture, craft, and theory, Lynn’s work not only centers the voicing of such courage but also our collective capacity to hear it, framing this as a measure of both personal and community health.
