NEW Drawings

I probably invent these people as much as a writer creates his characters, I twist or understate, I'm tender or cold, I see everything, but I'm blind in one eye. I only have a pencil and watercolors, but my memories and my inner projector are powerful instruments.

All of these figures still bear traces of reality, reflections of real people - strangers, friends, lovers. Here the fragment of a name, there the typical shine of the hair or the way to laugh. Fragments become a whole again and are already on the way to other, new realities. They are pictures of the fluid, fleeting world. – Lothar Hempel
