Gran parte de su vida transcurrió en Buenos Aires, Argentina, lugar donde estudió y comenzó su exploración artística y autodidacta.
Sus posteriores años en México la llevaron a encontrarse con el muralismo como primera disciplina, marcando su trayectoria. Sin embargo, actualmente encuentra en la pintura de estudio y en los formatos de menor escala una búsqueda más personal y técnica.
Vive y viaja por diferentes países, lo que le permite seguir desarrollando su obra, tomando inspiración en elementos y experiencias de la cultura local, así como en situaciones cotidianas.
Su trabajo está profundamente influenciado por la figura de la mujer y el proceso de autoconocimiento. Su práctica artística se desarrolla en Australia, Europa, Norteamérica y Sudamérica, donde ha participado en residencias y exposiciones. Estos contextos diversos continúan nutriendo y ampliando su lenguaje visual.
A través del estudio del color y la abstracción en lo figurativo, Javiera busca contextualizar las emociones y generar atmósferas personales abiertas a la interpretación.

She spent much of her life in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she studied and began her artistic and self-taught exploration.
Her later years in Mexico led her to encounter muralism as her first discipline, shaping the course of her practice. However, she currently finds in studio painting and smaller-scale formats a more personal and technical pursuit.
She lives and travels across different countries, which allows her to continue developing her work, drawing inspiration from elements and experiences of local cultures, as well as from everyday situations.
Her work is deeply influenced by the female figure and the process of self-discovery. Her artistic practice unfolds across Australia, Europe, North America, and South America, where she has participated in residencies and exhibitions. These diverse contexts continue to nourish and expand her visual language.
Through the study of color and abstraction within figuration, Javiera seeks to contextualize emotions and create personal atmospheres open to interpretation.
